ABOUT ME
Inna Zavadsky, LMFT, SEP
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
(She/Her/Hers)
Choosing to begin therapy is often shaped by one's unique life experiences, and taking that first step truly is an act of courage. You may be feeling overwhelmed by sadness, anxiety, stress, or uncertainty. You may have experienced a traumatic event or a significant loss. Perhaps you’ve noticed patterns in your life that no longer serve you and feel ready for something different. Maybe you’re longing for more meaningful, connected, and fulfilling relationships.

Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I imagine that finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, and I'm here to walk alongside you, offering support while you move toward insight, growth and healing.

I believe the relationship you build with your therapist is the essential part of meaningful and effective therapy. A strong, trusting alliance creates the safety and connection needed to have a positive and productive experience in therapy.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, I am empathic, collaborative, and provide support with compassion and respect. I look forward to working together.
MY APPROACH
Exploring the Process
I utilize a trauma informed approach, where I draw from various treatment modalities and principles including Experiential, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), somatic, mindfulness-based, psychodynamic, Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy in order to identify your goals and create an effective treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. A trauma-informed approach is a way of providing therapy that recognizes trauma's impact on a person’s thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and potentially physical health
Treatment may take a few sessions for brief, solution-focused therapy, or longer if family of origin issues will be explored

My practice primarily encompasses serving individuals and couples. I am dedicated to providing affirmative therapy supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. I work with different cultures, ages, backgrounds and professions, and I deeply value the diverse perspectives my clients share.

When working with couples, I draw from an Emotionally Focused Therapy perspective. I help with healing ruptured connections by discovering negative patterns of interaction, identifying unmet needs, building empathy, and most significantly, instilling hope.

EXPERIENCE
MY JOURNEY
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT CA #51957), I have had the privilege of working with individuals, couples and families over the last 14 years. In 2013, I founded my private practice. My approach has integrated evidence-based and insight-oriented modalities to support meaningful, lasting change for the individuals and couples I serve.

I held the position of Program Therapist in an Outpatient Psychiatric Program at a community hospital in the San Fernando Valley, where I provided individual and group psychotherapy to adult and geriatric populations.
Earlier in my training, I had the opportunity to deepen my knowledge of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and gain extensive experience providing individual, child, couple, and family therapy across two distinct private practice settings, the first specializing in the treatment of OCD. My training included receiving education through UCLA’s Anxiety Disorders Clinic.

Additionally, I specialized in psychodynamic therapy during my work with Airport Marina Counseling Service. I began my clinical career at the Los Angeles Free Clinic, where I focused on crisis intervention and triage, building a strong foundation in acute care and client stabilization.
